Since 2014, more than 6,000 educators have registered for Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots’ free, online professional development course, Growing Compassionate Leaders. Growing Compassionate Leaders is an innovative course that teaches participants how to use service learning best practices to implement a local Roots & Shoots campaign with their young people while developing compassionate leadership skills and traits. The course is broken out into the 4 steps of the Roots & Shoots model and includes Dr. Jane Goodall as a guest instructor throughout the training.
