INVESTING IN GOOD PROJECTS THAT DO GOOD
The Jane Goodall Institute New Zealand undertakes a Roots & Shoots mini-grant programme which awards grants to Roots & Shoots groups in the New Zealand. Groups are guided by the Roots & Shoots 4 step model to create youth-led action projects. Once they have chosen a campaign idea, members of all ages are encouraged to apply. Groups use the funds to help implement their projects and celebrate their accomplishments. Mini-grant reports are due at the end of each year.
